The hostel of Institute of Education (P.G.) for Women has been a long cherished demand of the students and to accommodate the students specially who lives in far distance. This hostel became finally operational from 1956. It is situated in the main campus of the college near Chandernnagar railway station. Its aim to provide girls quality education and a space for growth and learning. It gives outstation students the comfort of living on campus and access to its facilities. The hostels accommodate about 60 students. The hostels are designed to provide comfortable, safe, inclusive, and secure living with necessary amenities consists of 13 rooms (5 seaters) with necessary furnitures and, reading room, sufficient bathrooms, newspapers, safe drinking water (Aquaguard Purifier), visitor’s lounge, Dining hall with mess facilities. The hostel mess provides 3 meals per day (Lunch, Evening snacks and Dinner). Vigilant security and CCTV surveillance in hostel are available that ensure safety and security of hostel students.
