Admission Procedure
For Deputed Candidates of all categories (Gen, S.C, S.T, OBC (A&B) & PWD), provisional merit list will be prepared on the basis of their approved length of service. In case same length of service of two or more candidates, the 2nd& 3rd criteria shall be Academic Score and Date of Birth respectively.
Separate list for deputed applicants shall be prepared as per the following groups:
a) Language Group: (Method subjects: Bengali, English, Sanskrit, Hindi)
b) Social Science Group: (Method subjects: Geography, Education, Economics, Music, Philosophy, Fine Arts)
c) Science Group: (method subjects: Physical Science, Life Science, Mathematics)
For Fresher Candidates of all categories (Gen, ST, SC, OBC(A&B) & PWD), subject wise provisional merit list along with waiting list will be prepared on the basis of their Grade Points to be computed as per the following norms.:
a) 10% of the percentage of marks obtained at the M.P. (S.E.) or Equivalent Examination.
b) 10% of the percentage of marks obtained at the (H.S.) (10+2) or Equivalent Examination. c)
i) 15% of the percentage of marks obtained at the UG (Gen) Examination.
OR
ii) 20% of the percentage of marks obtained at the UG (HONS) Or Equivalent Examination.
20% of the percentage of marks obtained at the Post Graduate Examination.
a) Ad hoc 5 marks shall be awarded for M. Phil Degree or,
b) Ad hoc 8 marks shall be awarded for Ph.D. degree.
(Candidates with M.Phil, & Ph.D. degree both, only 8 marks to be awarded).
Merit lists and waiting lists published at

Listed candidates will be called for counselling at the college campus.
After counselling, they will be permitted to pay admission fees and will be admitted accordingly.
If any anomalies are detected even after admission, the candidate’s admission may be cancelled.
