Institute of Education (P.G) for Women, Chandernagore, P.O. - Khalisani, P.S.-Bhadreswar, Dist.- Hooghly, PIN-712138 is recognised by the NCTE and affiliated to the Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University, Kolkata. It runs as per the rules and regulations stipulated by the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal from time to time and possess 2f and 12b compliance by the UGC. The college comes under "Government" category. Institute of Education (P.G) for Women, Chandernagore has recently obtained 1st Cycle NAAC accreditation with grade of B++(2.86), 2025. Various cells or committees are formed to carry out proper functioning of the institute.
