Institute of Education (P.G.) for Women, Chandernagore, Hooghly is a Teachers’ Training Institute, located at a stone’s throw away distance from Chandannagar Railway Station. With the establishment of this college in 1965, a new era of enlightenment began in the field of Secondary Teachers’ Training for Women. This is a Government College under the aegis of Department of Higher Education, Govt. of West Bengal, affiliated to Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University (BSAEU) and recognized by NCTE. This College is committed to the cause of empowerment of women from all sectors through access to higher education and particularly in Teachers’ Training. At our B.Ed.
